Abilities, knowledge, experiences:
For many years, I have been working for major companies as a business analyst, workshop facilitator, team leader and coach in ambitious IT-projects. My work covers the entire life cycle of complex IT applications, from the planning stage to any format of end user training. Primarily my attention was centred on the constant change of strategic objectives, business requirements and operational procedures. Dealing daily with large teams of experts taught me to develop a quick sense for the psychological and cultural characteristics of large organisations, thus enabling a useful and targeted treatment of ‘soft’ success factors which are often critical in the course of a project.
Working as a trainer and, subsequently, head of the training department for the market-leading vendor of tools for model driven application development, I had the chance to build up experience in and contribute to the propagation of leading edge software engineering methodologies and toolkits as well as enterprise repositories. Nowadays, my predominant intention is to identify and follow the most appropriate approach to achieve high-quality solutions which come in time and budget.
Facilitating workshops with experts and decision makers and mediating between business and IT representatives, I have been facing hot topics in different industry sectors: transport and logistics (crew management), utilities (management information system), telecommunication (product modelling, billing and customer care) and finance (core banking system, Basel II).
Due to my knowledge of East European languages and my activities in both British and American organisations (as well as international projects), I qualify for demanding projects in the international arena.
